Please read these conditions carefully before ordering any services from Mike Hay Photography. By placing an order with Mike Hay Photography, you agree to be bound by these conditions.
Copyright notice
All images/articles/Blogs contained on www.mikehayphotography.com are subject to UK Copyright Laws. The 1988 Copyright Design and Patents Act section 77 & 80 assigns the copyright of the photographs taken to the photographer/studio. It is contrary to the Act and an offence to copy or allow to be copied, the photographs taken by Mike Hy Photography by any means and may lead to prosecution. All images and articles on this site remain the property of Mike Hay Photography at all times.
No images may downloaded or used without express written permission from Mike Hay Photography for any purpose whatsoever.
Courses, Workshops and Photography Guided Tours – Terms and Conditions
Your Agreement
By making a booking with Mike Hay Photography, you are entering into an agreement as follows:
I understand that full payment is required at least 7 days before the required date of the course, workshop or photography guided tour for the booking to be secured.
I understand that if I cancel the booking with less than 7 calendar days’ notice, my payment is non refundable.
I understand that during my tuition with Mike Hay Photography I may visit a variety of outdoor and indoor locations. I understand that during the full duration of the course, and when I am visiting, or travelling to or from these locations, I do so entirely at my own personal risk and take full responsibility for my actions.
I acknowledge that if I prefer Mike Hay Photography not to use any images of me, taken by other students or by Mike Hay during my course, workshop or photography guided tour, I must inform Mike Hay on the day of the workshop.
I understand under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult throughout the course, workshop or photography guided tour.
Obligations of Mike Hay Photography
Cancellations
If, due to unforeseen circumstances, Mike Hay Photography is forced to cancel a course, workshop or photography guided tour you will be offered a choice of arranging an alternative date or a full refund.
Your Privacy
My full privacy policy is here. I will contact you by email in advance of your course, workshop or photography guided tour but also ask for your telephone number when booking so that I can discuss the content of the course or workshop or the location of the photography guided tour with you and also in case I have to contact you urgently – I will not otherwise contact you by telephone.
Insurance
It is advisable that you have adequate insurance for yourself and your own photographic equipment. During my courses, workshops and photography guided tours your equipment may be subject to the elements or accidental damage. I am not responsible for any damage incurred to your photographic equipment or belongings whilst participating on one of my courses, workshops or photography guided tours.
Gift Vouchers
The course, workshop or photography guided tour will be booked in the usual way, and a gift voucher with a unique identifying code will be sent to you by email or by post.
The full value of the voucher must be redeemed in one transaction and within 12 months of purchase.
Mike Hay Photography Gift Vouchers are not redeemable for cash.
